Purpose and scope of data processing, transfer to third parties

When you access this website, we technically process your personal data listed below that are "affected". This particularly includes:

  • IP address of the requesting computer,
  • Date and time of access,
  • Name and URL of the retrieved file,
  • Referrer URL,
  • Browser type and operating system.

The processing is carried out for the purpose of being able to technically present the content of the website correctly, to ensure a smooth connection to the website, to ensure comfortable use of our website, as well as to evaluate system security and stability. Your aforementioned personal data will also be shared with Odoo S.A. as we use the hosting service provider Odoo S.A. (Chaussée de Namur 40, 1367 Grand-Rosière, Belgium) as the operator of the website servers within the European Union as a processor.

 

Legal basis for the aforementioned data processingis our legitimate interest, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The legitimate interest is to provide you with a secure, functioning, and user-friendly website and regarding the transfer of the affected data to the named third party, that technically necessary third parties must be involved in transmissions via the website (Internet server operators). Without the involvement of the third party, the display of content in your internet browser is not possible. The involvement of the third party is limited to those directly involved in the communication process.

The log files containing your personal data displayed above will be automatically deleted after 60 days.

The data is not stored in the Odoo system, but is forwarded directly via email to BioRegio STERN Management GmbH, meaning that the data is also shared with our IT service provider, DT Netsolution GmbH, Taläckerstr. 30, 70437 Stuttgart, and with the email provider used through the service provider, Microsoft Corporation based in the USA (One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA). Therefore, it cannot be ruled out that your aforementioned data may also be transferred to the USA. Currently, there is an adequate level of protection for data transfers to Microsoft in the USA, as Microsoft is on the Data Privacy Framework List and thus the EU-US Data Privacy Framework applies.

 

Legal basis:

The legal basis is possibly Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures).

In any case, the legal basis is our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to enable a straightforward contact process, ensure immediate forwarding of inquiries (hence transmission via email server), and to respond to incoming inquiries.

 

Duration of storage:

The data will be deleted two weeks after the conclusion of the contact or after the purpose has ceased, unless there is a legal retention obligation.

 

4. Web analysis by Plausible Analytics
